Hi Tony, How can I become a more positive person?

Dear Positivity,
I would recommend a process I have used for years to stay positive and ultimately be more happy. Here are the steps.
Identify the things that bring negativity in your life, or that cause you to lead a less than fulfilling life.
For me, they were:
- Lack of exercise
- Eating poorly
- Not growing
- Reacting negatively
- Procrastinating
- Blaming others
For each of the above, I created a positive statement and started writing them down daily to start retraining my brain on how I lived my life. My negatives became my positives in the statements below:
- I exercise daily and have high energy.
- I eat right and feel great.
- I am constantly getting better and better.
- I am positive and constructive in all I do.
- I do the homework necessary to succeed.
- I am 100% responsible for my life.
I’ve used these daily affirmations for over 10 years and they have made a massive difference in my life. Am I perfect? No, not by a longshot. But I can confidently say the days I aligned to these affirmations made me a better person, and the times when I lost my way were when I failed to recall them.
Find a way to build resilience in a positive and constructive outlook on a daily basis. The days will build into weeks, weeks into month, months into years, and years into a positive and constructive lifetime.
